Phil DuMas, CTO

Cybrix-Phil-DuMasPhil DuMas is a technologist with more than 20 years experience developing and implementing technology in a myriad of environments.

After a stint with the United States Marine Corps Mr. DuMas pursued an education at the University of Central Florida in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a focus on human to computer interaction and later completed a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) at Nova Southeastern University. In 2001 Mr. DuMas founded, grew and later sold The Octurnis Corporation, a firm focused on network security and data forensics. During his career he has been granted several patents based on unique communications architectures, applications and highly survivable network protocols. It was products based on the technology that Mr. DuMas developed that allowed the U.S. Coast Guard to set up communications centers in a scorched earth environment after hurricane Katrina for people to call for rescue. He continues to stay active in the IEEE, AFCEA, NDIA and several other associations while maintaining a focus on day to day operations and innovations in technology.
