Task Lead

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience managing complex DoD processes related to Experimentation, Training, Capabilities Document Generation, Capability Assessments, and Resource Management
  • Minimum of five years of Special Operations Experience, or equivalent experience as a civilian working with SOF organizations managing projects that evaluate combat capabilities, doctrine procedures and training systems
  • Minimum of five years’ experience assessing training and employment of current technology, determining capability gaps, providing focus area for future investments, and conducting rapid acquisition
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience on executive-level DoD staffs with interagency experience preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ experience researching, defining, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to enhance Joint and SOF global warfighting and Irregular Warfare capabilities and intimate knowledge of Joint and SOF information (e.g., techniques, tactics, and procedures), intelligence, logistics, and communications requirements to recommend and implement innovative technology based solutions to meet these requirements

Senior Research Analyst – SOF Operations Specialist

  • Minimum twenty years’ military experience in special operations
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in Ground, Maritime, Aviation, Airborne Operations, Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), Close Air Support (CAS), SOF training, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE), and Low-Level Source Operations (ASOT Level III)
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge on researching, defining, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to enhance Joint and SOF global warfighting and Irregular Warfare capabilities
  • Intimate knowledge of Joint and SOF information (e.g., techniques, tactics, and procedures), intelligence, logistics, and communications requirements

SOF Training Specialist

(GS-10 Equivalent)

  • Minimum ten years’ experience within SOF or SOF headquarters organizations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications, particularly Excel and Access
  • Knowledge of the joint training system, DoD modeling and simulation utilization and development, joint requirements and capabilities development process, and the USSOCOM requirements generation process (SOFCIDS)
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques of unified command organization, operations and of special operations missions, plans, policies and procedures
  • Expert written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum one year experience as an Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA)

Strategic Analyst / Technical Writer

Joint Training System Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum fifteen years’ experience in relevant area (joint training management, training program development, joint and combined arms operations, special operations core activities, etc.)
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational planning and executing combined and joint operations at the theater or force component level
  • Minimum three years’ experience as a JTIMS expert user
  • Expertise in advanced management and organizational skills
  • An expert understanding of all facets of the Joint Training System
  • Expertise in operational plans, contingency plans, crisis action planning

Senior Finance and Manpower Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree required in relevant area (finance, accounting, human relations, etc.)

  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and budget execution
