Examples include:

Custom Algorithm Development for Meshing on low power devices

Developed a custom MAC layer based mesh routing algorithm for deployment on unmanned sensor platforms. Routing, security, power requirements, anti-counter intelligence measures, power and connectivity all were taken into account and a package custom created for sensors to “live” for months at a time without contact in harsh environments and still be operable and gather intelligence.

a device that can broadcast over long distances in the 2.4GHz range specifically encoded for the Bluetooth technology.

NMS offering

The Cybrix Group created a Network Monitoring System, Pro-Vigil, for remote network monitoring and trouble ticket support.

Single Board Computer evaluation and testing

Cybrix has tested single board computing solutions from a myriad of suppliers to determine which ones best fit the need of the systems being developed as provided by the contractor.

Data backhaul/Data link radio testing

Cybrix engineers successfully tested radios manufactured by dozens of companies for use in a wide swath of frequencies at various step intervals and frequency widths. These radios were tested for their ability to remain connected in less than optimal conditions, ability to be jammed, ability to “burn through” typical interference and security.

Lab outfit and configuration

The Cybrix Group was contracted to choose, purchase and configure the equipment that went into a test lab.

Direction Finding testing and training

Cybrix performed testing and training on various pieces of direction finding equipment. We later used this knowledge to calibrate and test body worn antenna arrays, filed material configurable antenna systems and commercial direction finding devices.

Embedded build environment

We have recognized that no small amount of the work we do is based on small, embedded platforms.

Arduino/Miniduino/Sensor build and prototyping

To better understand the wide variety of sensors being utilized in the field we built our own sensor network and continue to develop a series of flexible platforms to test on.
